This week, I found a skilled photographer
that goes by the name Benoit Paille. As I was scrolling through
triangletriangle.com, one of his photographs caught my eye. I love night
photography and I though this photo was gorgeous. It was a photo of the night
sky through some trees that were shaded red. I haven't done a lot of night
photography but I really enjoy seeing other people's work featuring it. What I
like most is his photos make me question how he did them and where he was when
he shot them. His gallery on flickr is truly inspirational to me.

Blog Review 3/12: Jan Piotrowicz's "Ebisu Canal"
This week, I found an article called "Ebisu Canal" by Jan Piotrowicz. I really enjoy night photography. I haven't done a lot of it but I enjoy seeing other people's work. I usually favor night landscape photography but I decided to look at some night city photographs. As I was scrolling through the articles, I saw three photos that really caught my eye. They were of a canal running through Tokyo.Throughout the article, Piotrowicz talked about how Tokyo has a certain look to it at night. It sort of has a modern yet run down look to it. The canal running through the city was built to give the city it's look. Overall, I really enjoyed the photos and the meaning behind the canal.

Blog Review 3/5: Paula Kepfer's "From the Earth to the Moon: Vintage NASA Photographs"
This week, I am introducing
an article called "From the Earth to the Moon: Vintage NASA Photographs" by Paula Kupfer. This article's title stood out to me. I have always found that anything that has to do with space is very interesting to me. Throughout the article, Kupfer talked about how unique these hidden images are, Over 600 of these vintage photos will be auctioned off as digital prints in London. I think it is pretty awesome that people will finally be able to see these exclusive photographs.

Blog Review 2/26: Graham Bowley and Robert Mackey's "Destruction of Antiquities by ISIS Is Denounced."
For this week, I am introducing
destruction of antiquities in a museum in Middle East Mosul. Graham Bowley and
Robert Mackey's article, "Destruction of Antiquities by ISIS Is
Denounced." stood out to me for some strange reason. Maybe it is because
of the word ‘destruction’ in the title. Throughout the article, they spoke
about how awful it was to be destroying ancient art to get to hidden valuables.
When it comes to the destruction of art, I agree with the writers. This is a selfish
desire for money and riches. If there were another way to get the treasures out
of the sculptures without completely destroying them, then maybe I would have a
different opinion.
